Another week passed, and didn't even go to Skidz even though it was probably the last chance to go there. Now Skidz is under renovation, so no need to go out on Wednesdays anymore =) Actually there aren't that many left in HK anymore, since the rest of the time goes more or less in travelling.

Last weekend passed in European Education Fair trying to promote Finland for students planning to go study a degree abroad. It was quite interesting and good practising for trying to look good the whole time and talk convincing bullshit. What do you think, were we looking good enough?

And if you wonder what we got out of it, we went to eat (and drink) rather well after the fair was succesfully over, on government expenses of course:

On Wednesday morning we start our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, where we (AJ, Huiqin, Michi and I) will spend the Easter holidays + an additional week, which we skip from school. Again we take AirAsia's flight from Macau to Bangkok and from there we continue to Hanoi. (Advice, before booking the tickets, especially AirAsia, make sure you have no problems with the visas, Huiqin had to apply 2 transit visas for Thailand, since we have to enter the country in Bangkok to change the flight... She applied alltogether 4 visas for 1,5 week trip, not that nice...) In Hanoi we arrive in the late evening and stay for 1 day and our plan is to leave to Nha Trang on Friday (6.4.) morning. We were supposed to get the flight tickets through our hostel which we booked through HostelBookers. They promised to contact about it yesterday, but no news... Will see whether we'll get the tickets, or if we are stuck in Hanoi. It is possible to take a train or bus to south Vietnam, but it would take 36 hours, so we prefere not to spend that out of our rather limited 5 days. Then the plan in southern Vietnam is not entirely clear, probably going to somewhere in Mekong river delta etc., but we plan to enter Cambodia on 9. to go to Sihanoukville, which is supposed to be a very nice beach place. From Sihanoukville we hope to get a flight to Siem Riep probably on 11. to go to see the Angkor Wat temples, and then probably on 13. head to Phnom Penh by a boat to see the killing fields and shoot a cow by bazooka (NOT really, my perception of having fun is slightly different). The trip back from Phnom Penh through Bangkok and Macau starts in the morning of 15. So don't start to worry if you don't hear anything till 15. but if it takes long after that, then perhaps =) The schedule is tight and there is lot to see, hope everything goes even a bit smoothly...

Oh, and if someone hasn't heard about the other plans, on 26.4. we are heading to Philippines to go grill ourselves in Boracay for ~1,5 weeks =) And the ultimate plan is to hop in a train on 21. to start the trip back to home through Mongolia and Russia. Estimated time of crossing the Finnish-Russian border is 5.6. with the error of +- 2 days.

IF the network connections work somewhere around Vietnam and Cambodia, perhaps I try to write something and add pictures, but I won't promise anything. Over and out.
