Believe it or not, but last week AJ, Henkka and I held a Christmas Cookies Workshop here at Student Halls for the locals and other exchange students. There were ~25 partisipants (restricted) and also we had  5 very nice girls helping us to teach how to bake. The old saying: "Those who can't, teach" must have some wisdom...

We really didn't take the workshop too seriously, and had a great time arranging it. The most difficult (and perhaps the best) part of the workshop was that we had to make the dough ourselves because you can't buy it prepared as in Finland. The truth is that none of us had ever made the dough ourselves before. In the workshop we showed a video about making the dough. You can download it if you will [~60MB): Download the video Making the Dough! Nevertheless we managed to make the dough, and it was even pretty good, go ahead and ask from any of the partisipants or helpers.

The workshop itself went very nicely and I don't think it left anyone cold. The cookies were ok and we also served some glögi, which was good of course because I made it myself =) In conclusion, even though it took some time to prepare everything, we had a great time and it was an excellent experience. Can recommend anyone of you to try to organize a similar event =)
